Acrylic On Plexiglass
Several years ago, the idea of painting on plexiglass came to me. After years of creating many monotypes, by applying oil-based etching inks to plexiglass with brayers, then manipulating the ink and utilizing the subtractive method, prior to transferring to etching paper, I got the idea to apply slow drying acrylic paints to plexiglass and play with the paint in the same manner as I have with my monotypes. A new way to play.
